Planet Ark launched RecyclingNearYou.com.au in November 2006. The RecyclingNearYou website does the following;
- Gives you information about what you can and can’t recycle in your local area.
- Gives you the drop-off locations for a wide range of items including; electronic goods, printer cartridges, white goods, furniture, plus much more.
You can search the site by typing in your postcode, council area, state, suburb, or by the item you wish to recycle.
Since RecyclingNearYou.com.au was launched, there have been over 2
million visits to the site. The RecyclingNearYou website runs in
conjunction with the Recycling Hotline 1300 733 712.
